everytime sy baca judgment frm abdul malik ishak J...mesti sy rs cm best je nk jd judge neh.so this morning, when i was doing my research, i came across this case wc was decided by his lordship.

"In his capacity as an advocate and solicitor, Leonard Teoh acted for one Nor'aishah bte Bokhari ('Nor'aishah'), a Malay lady of 25 years of age. She was born a Muslim and at the material time professing the Islamic religion and was working with Citibank in Kuala Lumpur. Trouble reared its ugly head when she fell in love with one Joseph Arnold Lee, a Christian Chinese. The cupid arrow must have struck Nor'aishah right smack into her heart so much so that she lost all sense of balance. He must have used love portion number 9, for she seemed to be on cloud nine. As Francis Bacon once remarked: 'It is impossible to love and be wise'. Shakespeare too in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' once said: 'The course of true love never did run smooth'. Reverting back to the mainstream of the case, Nor'aishah decided to renounce the Islamic faith and was bent on embracing Christianity."

yg pastinya i enjoyed reading his lordship judgment.tp ada sorg judge ni..agak pening skit laa klu baca judgment dia. tak lain tak bukan..jeng jenge jenggg

dia punya judgment pon ajaib gila..ayat yg agak ajaib smbl berpusing2.payah skit nk paham sbb terlalu ajaib..heheh..my humble apology my lord..for i belive this is a compliment.jgn lerr kna contempt plak..ahhahahah
kdg2 bila baca judgment frm malik ishak J, boleh terasa cam beliau bercerita dgn penuh perasaan.
ada satu kes ni, if im not mistaken..counsel for the plaintif made an application to recuse his lordship frm the trial contemplating for real danger of bias.
in his judgment, hislordship wrote;
"silence is the best anecdote at this point of time"
the way he portray the above sentence, as if mcm terasa je dgn loyer ni sbb mintak dia to recuse himself. cute kan?
ada dlm kes mana ntah..sy kurang ingt, his lordship tulis cm neh...
"my heart and soul shall collapse like a deck of cards"
sekali lagi sy rasa chumel sgtt...hihihih
